In July 2001,Haining Mengnu Group Co., Ltd. being nuclear enterprise, Haining Green Furniture Co., Ltd., Mengnu Leather Products Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Appollo Leather Products Co., Ltd., Mengnu Furniture Co., Ltd., Haining Mengnu Leather Industry Co., Ltd. were united and established to become one large-scale enterprise in China, which manufactures sofa, leather, leather garment and is engaged in import and export trade. Up to the late August in 2004, the group covers 450,000m2 floor space and a construction area of 150,000m2 with total assets of 1.2 billion yuan and 4300 employees. Every year the group manufactures 2 million slipcovers, 300 thousand sofas, 800 thousand leather garments, and leather of 60 million square feet. In 2003 the group has total sales revenue of 1.026 billion yuan with an increase of 229.09% compared with the same period of the last year, realized a profit tax of 98.54 million by 240.73% and earned $45.85 foreign exchange export increasing by 545.78% compared with the same period of last year. The enterprise has come out the top of this trade with 6.2 % of market share and stepped into a rapid track of development.
